Pixels & Palettes - A photography exhibition at The Collective
One of my friends, Ashok, from flickr, is exhibiting his work at The Collective, a high-end retail store on Vittal Mallya road. Alongside him, also presenting his frames, is Ramnath Siva. Both Ashok’s and Ram’s frames are beautiful and have been presented well. The frames present beautiful textures, lovely colors, and nice compositions. Agna, the agency representing them, has done a good job of finding a store that can do justice to the frames displayed.
Ashok’s frames have a rustic flavor to them. He has captured simple things very beautifully - some of his frames have the simple, colorful doors and walls from rural India. He has also captured simple abstract things like nuts, rivets, and locks. Ram’s frames have a Mediterranean touch and his frames are from many countries around the globe.
When you leave the store, it will be with a pleasant after taste; of having seen things the way the photographers have - beautifully and elegantly.
Here’s Ashok, with some of the frames right at the entrance of the store.
