I have been to this temple a couple of times and love the serene atmosphere. I particularly love how the temple is located (right on the banks of the Tunga where it curves - almost 90 degrees).
From the picture, I am amazed to see how muddy the water gets during the monsoon season. The first time I was there the water was clear and there were lots of fishes too.
Beautiful, Chitra. The b/w temple shot reminded me of the Belur-Halebid kinds of temples. But such gorgeousness in our own state and most of us barely visit all these places. My kids love traveling and we will go to Kerala and Udupi this winter if all goes well. Thank you so very much for showcasing places we can go to easily and also with minor details that will help us.
